Educational School Field Trips

The Farmer Charley's Corn Maze, a labyrinth of twists, turns and dead ends, carved into stalks that rise to heights well over your head — it's an experience that is perfect for those hungry for fun!! Our saying here at the MAiZE is we want to "educate and recreate students"! It just so happens that we're able to accomplish that goal in a fun and unique setting. We invite you to bring your students to "Get Lost!" in our cornfield classroom!

Monday - Friday 9am - 2pm

"No Right Turn" Maze
Ride on the barrel train for each attendee
Barnyard Friends, Rubber Duck Races and Pig Races

Kiddle Korral (a play area for ages 5 and under only)
Ag-in-the-Classroom learning session

We will take over your classroom and put your chaperones to work, while teachers relax and enjoy the day. Teachers are admitted free, and their lunch is on us!

How much do they cost?

Reservations are required for all schools. All students and Chaperones are $6 each. Teachers are free. All students will receive: 1. A free pumpkin, 2. Corn Maze Coloring Book, 3. Free student pass to return to Farmer Charley’s Corn Maze Adventures.

Reservations must be paid in full two weeks in advance of the field trip. School checks are accepted, as well as VISA or MasterCard. Checks should be made out to "Farmer Charley's Corn Maze".

Some tips for your visit

Visit the Farm ChronicleDrinking Water: Teachers, please be sure you provide your students with plenty of drinking water. Our water supply is not potable; however, we have bottled water for sale.

Facilities: We have portable toilet facilities with hand sanitizers and a baby changing area.

Food: Picnic areas are available on a first-come/first-served basis. Not all food concessions are available on field trip days, however, you are welcome to bring a sack lunch. The Cornfield Café is always open for those who would rather purchase food.

Clothing: Please dress as if you are going camping. No sandals or open toed shoes. If has rained the day before considering wearing boots, because the ground may be muddy.

Safety: This is an all outdoor activity. Please check your student's records for "bee" sting allergies. There will also be straw bales for the students to sit on and play on, so please check on any allergies pertaining to hay straw. If a student has an allergy, the student must bring appropriate medication. We will not administer or distribute any type of medication. We have on site a minor emergency first aid kit.

Weather: If weather appears to be a problem, check our 'weather bug' for the latest forecast. Also check the Farmer Chronicles for up-to-the-minute news about whether the farm has had to close.
