Special Events on the Farm!

Celebrate Autumn and have even more fun on the farm at these special events:

September 6-9:  Military  Weekend
Thanks to our heroes for their service keeping us safe.  Free admission for members of the U.S. Military with valid ID.

September 13-16:  We love Teachers!
Teachers are free with valid school ID.  Meet Farmer Charley and learn about educational school field trip opportunities at the farm!

September 13-16:  Grandparents Weekend
Grandparents get in for half price when accompanied by their grandchildren!

September 22:   Pink Ribbon Day
Join us at noon as we unite in the fight against breast cancer.  A portion of ticket sales and proceeds from other activities will be donated to Northwest Ohio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the cure.
• Ribbon Maze quiz on breast cancer facts.
• Find hidden ribbons for prizes!
• Rope a pink steer head  – buy pink pumpkins and more.
• Come out and light up the maze at dark with us, forming a illuminating human chain of flashlights.  We’ll be having an aerial photo taken!

September 27-30:  Hockey & Ronald McDonald Magic Show
Show your sports colors — have fun in the aMAZEing Red Wing and Toledo Walleye corn field mazes.  Answer questions about your teams for clues to the right patha in the mazes!  Toldeo Walleye’s are planning special treats for our visitors on Saturday 2-4pm !  Watch our Facebook page for details on this and the Ronald McDonald magic show at 4-7pm.

What fun we are going to be having here at Farmer Charley’s.  The Toledo Walleye’s are sending Team Captain Kyle Rogers and Kyle Page here to meet our hockey fans.  Lots of great things going on this day. They  will be signing autographs and get you picture taken with the players.  Farmer Charley will be doing a special Pig Races to honor the team.  Come out and cheer them on!

October 6:  State Police Day
Come out and see a real police car up close.  Learn safety tips!

October 11-14:  Celebrating life on the farm
Bring a can of food for each person to be donated to God’s Works Food Pantry and receive a free cider donut.  Help feed those in need with your donations.

October  17-21:  Fire safety weekend
Watch for the Frenchtown fire department at the farm on Saturday 2-4pm.

October 27-28:  Trick R Treat Costume Days
We are celebrationg children!  Bring your children out dressed in costume for a parade and treats with Farmer Charley in the Courtyard.

Nov 4:  Pumpkin Chunken Day
Our last day of the 2012 season will be a “bash”!  We will be smashing pumpkins leftover from the season.
