Here at Farmer Charley’s , we just love the fall season!  The rich fall colors and smells of the fall season and all the fun fall activities that you can do only during these months.  Families come to Farmer Charley’s to play in the Courtyard with lots of fall activities for 2 to 92 years old.

There is something for every one to enjoy here.  Take a hayride to Nana’s Pumpkin Patch to pick those special pumpkins to make pies.  Get your Bales of Straw, Corn Stalks and Pumpkins for you to decorate your yard.  We will be having face painting and pumpkin decorating on the weekends for the kids enjoyment, check the calendar for time and days.There are more  decorations for Halloween you may choose from at the New County Store building  . Check out the new store and see what other things we have like our Bakery section etc.  Shoot the Pumpkin Cannons and watch the pumpkins fly at 100 m/p/h.  Learn about all of our  Barnyard Friends animals and watch the Pig Races.  They will have you squealing!  We have lots of things you can enjoy the whole day long. We have a new food  building and menue with Chicken strips and Fries and alot more your you to enjoy.

We celebrate fall by taking Hayrides with our farm tractor driven through the cornfields creating even more fun!  Perhaps you might see deer playing along the paths of the hayride trails and you just might get to take a picture of them if you are quick.  We see deer running down the path ways of the maze as it is growing.  The deer sometimes stop and look at us as if to say, “Yea look at us, we found our way through the maze, did you!”

When it gets dark do Flashlight Night, the maze is pitch black and you find your way with only your flashlights. Then visit our bonfire welcoming you having some  warm hot cholocate.  You will want to sample some of our special fall treats.  Our wonderful Apple Fitters and are oh so good, you will want to take some home.  How about some Hot Chocolate to warm you up or roast some marshmallows and make some Smores?

Don’t forget to go over to the “PUMPKIN CANNONS. At Farmer Charley, we grows special pumpkins just the right size for you to shoot.  You will shoot them over 100 miles an hour (or so they say)  at targets.  See if you can hit the target and win a prize if you put it through the  silly ghost mouth.  Are you up for that?  They call this a “Boy Toy”, but we girls can hit that target just as good as the boys!  Our youngest person to sho0t the cannon was 18 months old and had the best shot of the season as her daddy held her up.

Have you ever seen Pig Races? Well, we have them and if you are a brave soul and love our little piggies, you can give him a little smack-a-rue (kiss) if you wish.  Of course we don’t want our piggies to get sick, so we use a sanitizer on his mouth so he doesn’t get your germs.  He He !!

Thursday Nights- HALF OFF  FAMILY NIGHT from4-6pm with a can of food for each person to help feed the hungry !  After 6pm it goes back to full price so come early to save $5.

Friday nights- 4-6 pm  only children 4-11 are half off  (w/ cans of food for each person0

Saturday & Sunday- 12-1 pm only children 4-11 half off  ( w/ can of food for weach person)

In September, come out to see the Wall of Green.  Celebrate Pumpkin Festival through September, October.  What a great time to be outdoors, enjoying the splendor’s of fall and creating those special memories.  Bring your camera’s to take pictures of your little ones enjoying.
