About the Farmers
Farmer Charley grew up on a farm in New Boston, Michigan. He is a proud third generation of farmers in his family. His family came from Germany in the early turn of the century and settled in New Boston area. The family was made up of dairy farmers, carpenters, and poultry farmers.
Farmer Charley’s father Edward farmed all of his life until an accident on the farm when he lost a hand. That is when little Charley started farming full time to help his family. His late brother, Robert, also became a farmer and farmed up until his death. Charley and Robert farmed over 3,000 acres at on time together for over 25 years until Robert passed away.
When Farmer Charley and his wife moved to their new farm here in Monroe. The family visited an other maze and decided to start one of their own. It was a family project at one time and now Farmer Charley’s wife, Marge runs the Farmer Charley’sCorn Maze Adventures. Sometimes the family and grandchildren comes out to the farm to help. So when you come to visit, you may have the opportunity to meet everyone! Be sure to greet Farmer Charley and Marge and have a great time while visiting their farm.
Our Vision
Farmer Charley’s Corn Maze Adventures has been a vision for our family since 2005. Our goal is to create a place for you to come and laugh and play with your children — a special place where memories are created for a life time!
We created that special place for you, so you can just do that. What a great way to spend quality time with your family. We always ask God to bless the Corn Maze usage. We put a cross in the corn maze just for Him. Maybe you will find it when you are finding your way along the pathways and know that God is blessing you and yours forever!
