About our Eagles
Bald Eagles are frequenting flying over our farm on North Stony Creek.
In 2005, three juveniles returned flying before the Spring. In 2006, six juveniles were discovered. This was double the previous year’s batch and we were excited to see them. We are proud that we have a great environment for our beloved eagles to have protective sanctuary.
We once saw 10 Bald Eagles over our farm and land on the silo to rest and dry their wings. What a site that was! We are always excited to see how many of them return each year. We believe they are the nestlings raised by pairs of eagles along the creek last summer.
We can’t wait to see what summer brings for these beautiful neighbors!
2010 Update: We have spotted our Eagles again. They are so beatiful and have been flying over the Corn Maze for the last month. They seem to be younger Eagles this year. They stay here for about 15 minutes flying around landing on the solo. We hope to see them returned every day to our farm so we can enjoy their splendor. We hope when you come and that they will be visiting and you to see how beautiful they are too!
